This catalog is being published on the occasion of a multi-venue retrospective for Alison Hildreth in Maine beginning in August 2023 and ending in January of 2024 at New Era Gallery in Vinalhaven, SPEEDWELL Contemporary in Portland, and the Center for Maine Contemporary Art in Rockland.
In addition to presenting Hildreth’s most recent exhibition works, the catalog surveys her earlier work and includes written contributions from Jaime DeSimone, Lauren Fensterstock, Sean Foley, Jocelyn Lee, Jessica May, Katharine Watson, Adam Weinberg, and Katarina Weslien.
