Speedwell Contemporary presents Darkness Visible: A Portrait of Alison Hildreth a short film by Smith Galtney The film was produced on the occasion of the multi-venue retrospective of Alison Hildreth's work in Maine beginning in August 2023 and ending in January of 2024 at New Era Gallery in Vinalhaven, SPEEDWELL Contemporary in Portland, and the Center for Maine Contemporary Art in Rockland.
