Vicki Latimer Roan
Vicki Latimer Roan is a graphic and textile designer who first created a line of recycled cotton totes illustrated with designs inspired by the urban and natural surroundings. She now is taking her love of pattern to modern tapestries and tabletop with the hopes of raising awareness to the waste of single use items like wallpaper and napkins. Many of her patterns are created with social consciousness in mind, from using sustainable and organic fabrics to designing a special pattern each to benefit an organization fighting for the cause represented.
Roan currently lives and works in Portland, OR with her husband, two kids, two cats, a leopard gecko and a myriad of other animals if you were to ask her children.
